To keep our racks feeling fresh and intentional, here are the brands we’re not accepting right now.

Brands We Don’t Accept:

We love a good label, but not every brand aligns with the quality standards we curate in-store. That said, these pieces still deserve a second life, and we always encourage recycling or donating whenever possible. Please note: we do not take pieces from brands that have closed or been discontinued.

How To Prep Your Items For Consignment:

  • Make sure your pieces align with our current seasonal intake, and browse our Brands We Love page for a sample of the labels we consign—though we accept so much more than what’s listed. If you’re not sure about a brand, bring the piece with you and our team will take a look!

  • Pull aside quality items you no longer reach for, ideally purchased directly from the retailer within the last 2 years; as these are perfect for giving a second life through consignment.

  • Inspect each piece to ensure it’s freshly cleaned, stain-free, damage-free, and ready to go straight onto the racks.

  • Place your prepared items in a bag or tote and bring them to the shop for your scheduled consignment appointment.

We Curate & Price

Our team selects what fits the shop vibe and prices each item to sell—while getting you the best return. You’ll be notified of what’s accepted.

Bring In Your Best

We accept clean, gently-loved pieces from brands we love (check the list!). Think current, seasonal, and in excellent condition.

Build Credit or Cash Out

As your items sell, you’ll earn a commission—use it as store credit to treat yourself to something new (and get even more bang for your buck!). Prefer a cash payout? You’ll have that option at the end of your 3-month contract.

  • Please visit the Brands We Love page for a detailed list of brands we accept at Clothesline.

    • Ensure you’ve gone through your closet and put aside the items you wish to consign.

    • Review the Brands We Love to ensure your items align with the accepted brands

    • Check that your items are in good condition and wash if needed.

    • Put them in a bag or bin for easy transport to the store.

  • Items remain on the floor for 3 months. After that period, any unsold pieces will be bagged. At the end of your 3-month contract, it’s your responsibility to contact us and schedule a pickup. If items aren’t collected within 30 days, they will be donated to a charitable organization.

  • When your items sell, you have two options:

    • Store Credit: Earn 50% of the selling price (50/50 split) to use in-store.

    • Cheque Payout: Receive 40% of the selling price (60/40 split).

    Store credit gives you the most bang for your buck—it’s the best way to shop guilt-free while keeping your wardrobe fresh and ever-changing.
